Sign with Microsoft Word
Step 1: Open the document to be signed
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Create a new document or open an existing document that needs to be signed.
Step 2: Select File → Info.

Step 3: Select Protect Document.
Step 4: Select Add a Digital Signature.

Step 5: Verify that the displayed digital certificate is the one you want to use for signing.
Step 6: If you want to change the certificate, select Change.
Step 7: Click Sign to start signing.

Step 8: An authentication screen will appear.

Step 9: Open the VNeID application on your mobile device.
- Go to Notifications → Select Signature request confirmation.
- Review the information.
- Check the consent box:
- “I have read and clearly understood the purpose (as stated above), my rights and obligations as the data subject, and I agree to these terms.”
- Tap Confirm Sharing.
- The application will display Information shared successfully.

Step 10: Complete the signing process
- The GoPaperless Agent system will display the message: “Signing completed successfully.”
Step 11: Check the signed document. Select Signed Document to open it.


Step 12: In the Signature panel (on the right side), view the signature information.
To view detailed certificate information:
- Click the expand icon
- Select Signature Details
- Click View to see details
- Click OK to finish
